We are getting ready to play! See you at 7:30 tonight at the Dundas Driving Park. Bring you chair! We have our special guest tonight, the Dundas Pipes and Drums.

Our summer Concerts in the Park series starts this Tuesday, July 2nd at 7:30 at the Dundas Driving Park. Come on out to hear some great music!

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the Dundas Concert Band performed at the St. Joseph’s Villa Providence House Picnic. This picnic was well attended, with many fun activities for the residents. We played in the auditorium and hope to go back to perform again before Christmas.

A Brass Quintet and a Clarinet Sextet from the Dundas Concert Band performed at the Made in Dundas event on Saturday, May 25th. This was a fun family event at the Dundas Museum. Lots to see and do, and great music to listen to! Unfortunately, the rain kept the crowds away during our performance. Below are some pictures from the event.

Our Summer concert series is just around the corner. Starting Tuesday, July 2nd at 7:30pm, come on out to the Dundas Driving Park with your lawn chair, and listen to the Dundas Concert Band. We’re well on our way to rehearsing our songs. We’re sure that there is something in our line-up for everyone! We will perform each Tuesday in July. See you there!

We had our concert on Sunday, April 7th at St. Paul’s United Church. The main theme for the concert was the Eclipse. We had space music, music from Gustav Holst, music written by a former DCB member, and provided music for everyone. Many thanks to our audience for coming out and supporting us. On April 7 the Dundas Concert Band will take its audience on a journey that will acknowledge the solar eclipse that occurs on April 8. It is very rare to have such a spectacular celestial event occur in our own neighbourhood. The DCB felt that part of this concert should pay tribute to this truly magnificent natural display.

Stay tuned for some exciting information about our spring concert, to be held on Sunday, April 7th at 3pm at St. Paul’s United Church in Dundas. It’s sure to be out of this world!

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, members of the Dundas Lions Club came to our Tuesday night rehearsal with a sponsorship cheque for $1,000.00. We are very grateful for this generous donation, which will sponsor our July 23rd summer concert, and help cover our operating expenses.
